About the Opportunity

Sedl Agencies is looking for a full-time Customer Service Officer based in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, QLD.

This is an internal, in-office position. You will work closely with our internal sales team and provide exceptional service and technical support to clients across Southeast Queensland.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency
  • Processing customer and sales rep orders within service level expectations
  • Proactively communicating with customers regarding product lead times and ETAs
  • Managing and maintaining customer records in SYMPAC
  • Identifying and escalating sales opportunities and enhancement requests
  • Collaborating with the external sales force as a key support contact
  • Promoting current campaigns and raising awareness of product promotions
  • Ensuring end-to-end ownership of client issues and achieving first-point resolution
  • Going above and beyond to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards

About You

To qualify, you will need previous customer service experience and solid knowledge of industrial products. We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with hands-on experience in industrial tools or safety equipment.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience with technical sales or industrial tools
  • Familiarity with SYMPAC or similar CRMs — or the aptitude and willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong phone communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to ask the right questions and apply knowledge effectively
  • Confidence in navigating large product catalogues
