About the Opportunity
SEDL Agencies now has an exciting hands-on opportunity for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to join their warehouse team at their Salisbury, Brisbane branch.
Reporting to the Operations Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, supervising a team of warehouse staff to achieve timely delivery to all customers.
More specifically, your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be confined to):
- Ensuring the warehouse operates in line with organisational policies and procedures;
- Supervising and guiding all warehouse team members to achieve maximum use of warehouse resources;
- Checking the accuracy, quantity, and quality of outgoing orders;
- Managing the daily setup and shutdown of the Warehouse;
- Liaising with the Purchasing Officers to ensure stock levels are maintained; and
- Assist warehouse staff with a range of daily duties, including processing receipts and monitoring stock.

About You
To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar industrial environment, particularly in a supervisory/managerial position.
As a hands-on supervisor, you will need to have strong time management skills and attention to detail, to ensure you are maintaining a consistent and organised workflow for both yourself and warehouse staff, and achieve the timely delivery of orders and accurate management of records.
With quality assurance at the forefront of SEDL Agencies operations, your ability to manage warehouse staff through clear and influential communication, in line with established processes and protocols, will go a long way to ensuring your success within the role.
The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to provide high-quality customer service and negotiate with external stakeholders (freight companies etc.). Whilst not essential, any exposure to imports, or experience with the software system SYM-PAC, will be highly regarded.
Please Note: To be eligible for this role, you must have a current manual drivers licence, forklift licence, and be capable of lifting heavy items (e.g. 20-litre drums),
